I already have a signed certificate and key

Aptana can install an existing certificate and key on your cloud site with our automated system. Please attach the certificate and key to the support ticket.

I don't have a signed certificate and key.

We can generate a Certificate Signing Request for you that you can then get signed by a certificate authority. Godaddy, for instance, provides signing services at a reasonable price.

In order for us to generate the Certificate Signing Request, please include the following information in your support ticket:

• Domain name (common name, e.g., example.com or subdomain.example.com)
• Organization (typically your company name)
• Organizational unit
• City
• State (full name)
• Country (2-Letter Code)
• Email Address

We will use this information to generate a CSR (certificate signing request) that you will then get signed by the certificate authority of your choosing. We will also send you the Private Key associated with the CSR. You should keep the Private Key in a secure place. The certificate authority will sign the CSR and send you a certificate which we will install along with the Private Key on your site.
